4 out of 5 stars My wife bought these for me.   December 23, 2008
My wife bought these for me. I own a HD Sporster 1200. I popped the seat off and took the front straps down around the seat peg. This worked out pretty good. I put the seat back on. I then took the back straps and ran them under the license plate holder. After a little adjusting they seem to be locked in pretty good. They do not move forward or backwards. I have not had a chance to ride with them yet because of the weather. Looks like Friday will be a nice day so I am going to try them out.
I will let you know.
They look pretty good. They are not HD but she did not spend a HD amount on them. Time will tell how they will wear.

4 out of 5 stars Very good saddle bags   December 12, 2008
Easy to adjust, bigger than it looks on the photo. Very good sport looking. It was a good purchase. If you are looking for a new different saddle bags, these are.

These bags are great.
After a little adjusting they don't move.
Everything stays nice a dry when the covers are on and the covers are great in traffic so you are seen.

I've been looking for 2 sets of saddle bags for over a month when I saw these. I purchased the first set and was so happy with them I purchased the 2nd pair. Easy to configure, water proof and they even come with their own rain covers. Enough room and pockets to organize bike cover, rain suit, tools, and more.

These saddlebags worked fine on my 08 Ninja 250r. They are easy to manuver and adjust to where they fit. They might be a little too big for the sport bike that I use, but they do fit quite a bit. To give you an idea fo capacity, I mounted them one night and went to the supermaket. I was able to fit two loaves of bread in one of them, one on top of the other (with a little room to spare up top and on the side) and on the other one, I had a half a gallon of milk, a 5lb. bag of sugar and about 6 yogurt cups with plenty of room to spare. It is important to balance it out though. On the ride home I had to compensate for the difference in weight that the two bags were carrying.

I cannot see these not working in all but the most complicated setups. If a sports bike can take them, so can most others. They are not waterproof, but they are very well made and have reflective tape all over. They also have handles so you can detach them and use them like a small gym bag of sorts.
