great productJanuary 8, 2009 This is a very high quality bag for a very low price. Feel very satisfied with it after having it on my F650GS for 2months. The built-in rain cover is also very handy. Perfect for daily commute.
Tail and Side Bags - a great combinationJanuary 2, 2009 I added the tail and side bags for my Star XVS 650 Custom, and they've come in handy on many trips. For my bike, I placed the mounting straps under the passenger/pillion seat. First remove the single nut holding the passenger seat in place and then slide it out. They you can connect the straps together, and place the seat back.
Works wellSeptember 20, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I bought this as an alternative to saddlebags that would be much more expensive. I works very well and looks quite good on my motorcycle. I has modest capacity, but more than enough for my license, registration, two pairs of gloves, sunglasses, wallet, cell phone, a reflective vest, a helmet lock and more stuff. You could easily fit a water bottle, maps etc. As you would expect, when on the bike it makes it a little harder to mount, because you have to throw your leg over it.
