Sturdy and Perfect SizeJuly 6, 2010 Todd I bought this bag after many years of riding with nothing but a cargo net for storage. My biggest concern was finding something that had enough of a foot print to hold books/magazines. With riding many years without a tailbag I did not see the reason to spend $80 for something I was unsure would work for my purpose. Once I saw this tailbag I was a bit skeptical whether or not the bag was going to be large enough but with it costing less than $40 bucks, I was willing to give it a try. Once it arrived I was impressed with the construction. It has thick insulated panels that make up the overall shape of the bag and side pockets work well for sunglasses and gloves. The bag's inside dimensions are perfect for hauling books and magazines. The bag keeps it's shape whether loaded or not. The straps that came with the bag have rubber infused to keep the straps from moving or working loose. The bag takes some getting used to having not used one in the past. Mostly mounting and dismounting is where you notice it most. I have combated this by standing on the peg first before swinging a leg over.
To sum it up I would've paid $60 for it knowing what I know now about this bag.
nice bag easy on and offJune 28, 2010 James L. Amundson(Canton, Ohio United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have a Yamaha Road Star. I didn't want to spoil its look with big saddle bags, but needed something to hold small purchases on short trips. This bag does the job and is easy to attach and remove. Not big enough for trips or large items tho. I holds my rain gear and a few other things just fine.
Poor DesignDecember 9, 2009 Robert J. Unger(Bonita Springs, Florida) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Nice looking bag, but the first time I strapped it on and rode the whopping two round trip miles to the gas station, the straps broke. Nothing in the bag, not too tight, just cheap weak material. Unfortunately I had pitched the box and so it goes in the cabinet next to other worthless items. Save your money for something that works.
Motorcycle Tail BagOctober 7, 2009 B. Do(Alex, VA) The tail bag comes with everything described. I am very satisfy with the tail bag. One thing is that I wish the tail bag would be a little larger so that it could hold something like a laptop.
Works great, not as pretty as the pictureSeptember 12, 2009 A. Johnston(TX) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this as a hold over until I decide on some hard case saddle bags.
It works and it has some good space. It doesn't sit quite as nicely as the picture (it folds over the seat a bit), but maybe I just have it too tight.
