Product Description
Leather Saddlebags - Motorcycle Leather Saddlebags SD2056.

Leather Saddlebags Features:

  • Item: SD2056
  • Brand: Jafrum
  • Color: Black
  • Material: Cowhide Leather with rubber lamination inside
  • Width: 16 inches
  • Height: 11 inches
  • Depth: 6 inches
  • Waterproof: Yes

These leather saddlebags are made from split leather which is the thick under part of the top grain leather. Great for couple of years of use. Not Water Proof but Water Resistant. We recommend you using some waterproofing leather cream.

No need for any mounting hardware or support brackets. Just put under passenger seat over the rear fender and tie-down to the motorcycle frame using the attached leather tie-downs on each bag. You can easily choose how high or low you want to hang the bags by adjusting the center strap. These are designed not to flop around in the wind or get into the rear wheel and also to give adequate leg space for the passenger. Each bag is treated for water resistant (not water proof).

This will look good and will fit most of the Harley Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Suzuki, BMW motorcycles.

3 out of 5 stars Not a bad deal for the money   May 4, 2010

For what they are, these aren't bad bags. They aren't in the same league as higher end bags, but they aren't as expensive either. They are decent sized and so far seem to be holding up nicely. They are a perfectly acceptable set of bags if you cant sprint for the expensive custom ones.

The price was right and they looked half decent in the pic, so sure why not. Well when they arrived I was a lot happier than I thought I'd be, not only did they look great but they were totally better than described and pictured. Yea ok they don't compare to higher priced bags but what do you expect, for 60 bucks shipped it's a steal. Tons of room for storage, easy install and they are just awesome. I would totally recommend them to my buddies, being a college student on a G.I. bill budget they were totally worth my money. The customer pics are of my bike, it's a 95 Honda Magna and they fit nicely. They are bigger than I thought so I think on a full size cruiser they'd look even better. Do yourself a favor and save some cash at the same time, pick these bags up.

I bought these for my boyfriend for his birthday, he immediately went out to the garage and put them on the bike. They fit perfectly, they are a little stiff and we are not a big fan of the velcro around the sides(pain in the butt) but we get it, they do help keep them closed and lined up properly and stop and blowing in teh wind, the buckels are quick release they look good for the money we spent. I would buy them again, we are happy and I have a place to put my jacket and purse : )

3 out of 5 stars Not exactly what I expected.   October 31, 2009

I got these thinking they'd be a nice, cheap alternative to the $400 bags my dealer offered.

They look nice, in fact they look amazing on my Speedmaster 800, fit perfectly right outa the box, no adjusting just threw'em on.
They were delivered OVERSEAS a whole 12 days BEFORE the earliest delivery estimate.

Only thing is I was expecting a rough, soft, leather feel to them. But they are very stiff and feel like plastic. Defiantly NOT how the product description describes.
Also the buckles kinda dangle off the straps, Ive been fiddlin' with them for a while and some are taught just right but some just dangle.
I also wish the center piece fit a little more subtly on my bike. Since the leather is so stiff it juts out from under the seat a little. Hopefully a little wear and tear will soften them up and they'll fit more naturally over my bike.

Overall though these saddles bags are more than what I expected for their price, but they are also exactly what I expected for the price as well. They're cheap, no way around it, but they do the job and do look good.

I was a little worried about buying these throw over bags for as cheap as they were but I needed something in between selling my leatherlyke bags and saving up for nicer ones and since buying them I have been more than pleased with these. Although they are a tad small for my vtx 1300s they are made of sturdy leather with plastic clips covered by a buckle and velcro to secure the bags. They have been ridden in rain and seem to be holding up nicely. The inside of the bags are nice too just wish they were a little bit bigger but for the price I am very pleased with them.
