Customer Reviews:
Good textile jacketJuly 2, 2008 Pros: High quality textile fabric, removable liner (very warm), strategically positioned pockets (great for cell phone, wallet, and keys), reflective strips incorporated into design, additional elbow and shoulder armor, good vent system.
Cons: Weird fit
A few notes about the odd fit of this jacket: I'm 5'8" and 110 lbs, I bought a medium because the arms on the small were too short for me. However, the waist on the medium is pretty baggy even when the straps are pulled in all the way, but it doesn't cause me an problem while riding. The length on the arms is good, but they seem to be a little to large in diameter (the extra armor feels like it moves around a bit while I'm wearing it and often needs to be repositioned before riding). Also, I feel like this jacket is a bit bulky looking (makes me look like a transformer or something), but maybe I just need to bulk up a bit.
Aside from the fit, this seems to be a really well made jacket. With the liner in, it is super warm on cold days in NH. With the liner removed and vents open, I can ride quite comfortably on hot days with minimal back sweat. It also seems to be pretty water resistant which is always a huge plus.
