1] You will need a size bigger than you usually wear. I am a L but would need a XL, so decided to take off the inner lining (nothing of use than to store you wallet, papers? etc. Without the lining it now fits well.
2] the arm, shoulder Armor are hard plastic, not bad, feel protected. The back protector I presume are pads?? Could be better
3] Jacket is nice, top is leather and below that (chest down) is heavy duty material (mesh).
4] Multiple zippers for air-flow
I like this jacket, and felt air flow thru riding even on a 95 F day. You will feel safe riding in this. Some protection better than nothing, I guess.
Pretty decent product for the price...Would recommend this. But remember to get a size larger than you would normally wear...if not then the inner liner can be taken off...

I bought this jacket from leatherup after reading the numerous positive reviews on the site.
The jackets ( I bought two ) are horrible.
The zippers are the cheapest zippers I've ever seen! They not only stick and bind on the material surrounding the zipper path but they also unzip from the bottom sometimes... The few extra dollars it would have cost to use a good YKK zipper would have been money well spent.
Second is the build quality of the jackets themselves. I had every single plastic snap tear from the inner liner making it impossible to fasten the liner to the jacket.
I also think the leather feels thin... and the textile lacks the thickness found in other name brand jackets.
The leatherup site won't allow a negative review to be posted to the site so BEWARE!!!!
I would spend a few extra dollars and go with a name brand jacket....

Great product for the price. Be careful with choosing the size. I normally take a 2XL but with this jacket the 3XL was a much better fit.
