Too small, size chart wrong!!April 7, 2010 Deepak Agarwal(Michigan USA) According to the size chart, I ordered a size M (I am a size M on all other helmets size charts).
This Bell Zephyr helmet in size M is at least two sizes small, it is as small as an XS!!
I have ordered other helmets online, never ever had this problem with size.
I tried getting replacement pads/liners, but looks like Bell helmets are out of business and parts are impossible to get.
I suggest avoid buying this helmet online because you never know if it will fit you or not.
I cant comment on how good or bad it is because I could not get my head to fit into it!!
Great helmet for under $50April 6, 2010 D. Chermak I think this helmet works just fine and is a great buy for under $50. I bought this helmet as a spare for random people on the back of the bike. I bought a size medium even though I am a small and since it seemed to fit pretty good I had to try it out. It did a fine job I would only have two concerns about this helmet. First is the cheek pads are rather thick thus being the reason I can wear the medium. These will compress quit a bit but means if I would have bought the helmet for myself in my actual size it would feel extra tight for the first several rides. Second if you wear glasses it was really tough for me to put them on in this helmet as there is no break in the padding so you just have to wedge them through. All and all though I am happy with the purchase.

This was such a great buy I almost did not order it - beacause all I could think of was "no way am I buying a REAL Bell helmet for under $50!" But I did - I could not be more pleased! It is a VERY good looking helmet and it has a good snug fit - I bought this for my nephew and he is beyond happy! And within a few days it has already passed the first crash test. This is probably the best deal you could find for a good name brand (very good name brand) helmet. THANK YOU!!
