I saw these on Amazon, and needed a pair of fingerless gloves for riding ATV's to prevent blisters. Not knowing exactly how these would fit, I ordered 2 pairs; one medium, one large.

When they arrived, I opened the medium package, assuming they would probably be the better fit of the 2. I was half right. The left glove "fit" OK, even though the person in Pakistan (seriously) that sewed them together had no idea what a human hand is shaped like. The right glove wouldn't even begin to approach fitting on my hand. Either my right hand is abnormally giant-like (which I have not observed with any other pair of gloves...) or this pair of gloves was utter crap. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say it was the latter.

OK, fine, perhaps the large pair will fit better. So, I open that package as well, and try them on. Yes, I could pull both gloves on, although apparently the people in Pakistan also sew gloves for aliens, as there is no real correlation between the "fit" of these gloves and human anatomy. There is a weird excess of material around the thumb area, almost as if they were sewn for someone with webbed thumbs. OK, I thought I would at least be able to try them out on the trail, and see what utter crap they actually were, except for one small detail. As I was removing the right glove, it turns out the leather was so thin that I actually *TORE* the glove removing it. I was NOT using my super-human strength at the time, either. Upon inspection, the leather of the left glove is also thin, but nowhere NEAR as thin as the right glove.

So, in conclusion, if you want a pair of gloves sewn for an alien with mis-matched web-thumbed hands, and don't mind if you can't remove them without *tearing* whichever one of the pair is (poorly) constructed out of inferior leather, then by all means purchase a pair of these fine gloves. If, however, you prefer not to waste your cash, stay far, far, far away from these POS "gloves". I wish I had.

On a high note, they did arrive quickly. Lot of good that does me for 2 pairs of useless gloves. Oh, and by the way, the seller will gladly take back your merchandise within 30 days.....as long as they are unused and unopened. Thanks. A lot. No, really, I mean it. Thanks.

These gloves were everything I had hoped for and more. For the price I wasn't expecting the softest leather, but they were very supple. They have medium thickness padding in the palm area. I would say most bike gloves have a bit more padding. In this case though, I'm not entirely sure that more is better. These are adequate for me. The backside is a mesh fabric, which allows them to breath freely. They don't absorb sweat as well when you wipe your brow as some others, but that is only a minor negative for me, offset by the fact that they keep hands so cool.
